Libromi Onboarding Troubleshooting Guide

This guide helps resolve common issues faced while signing up or connecting Meta Business Account for WhatsApp API access.

WhatsApp Business Account Not Linked or Missing

If your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) isn’t visible in the Libromi dashboard or phone number/API options don’t appear, it usually means your WABA isn’t properly connected to the Meta Business Manager.

What to do:

  • Go to Meta Business Settings → Accounts → WhatsApp Accounts and confirm your WABA appears there.
  • In Business Settings → Partners → Add Partner, add Libromi’s Business ID and assign all WhatsApp-related permissions.

Admin Access Issues

If you encounter “Access Denied” or “Permission Missing” errors, your Meta profile might not have full Admin rights.

Fix:

  • Ensure your Meta role is Admin, not just Employee.
  • Your Admin must grant full permissions for:
    • Business Manager
    • WhatsApp Account
    • Phone Number
    • System User

WhatsApp Number Already in Use

If you get a “Number already registered” message, the number is active with another BSP or standard WhatsApp account.

Fix:

  • Delete the WhatsApp account from the mobile app if it was used earlier.
  • Request your current BSP to release the number.
  • Try linking the number again in Libromi.

Display Name Rejected by Meta

If your display name is stuck in review or rejected, it may not comply with Meta’s naming policies.

Fix:

  • Use your official business name exactly as shown on your website/domain.
  • Avoid emojis, special symbols, or unrelated text.
  • Re-submit for approval from the Libromi dashboard.

OTP or Email Verification Issues

If you don’t receive OTPs or verification emails during signup:

Try this:

  • Check your Spam/Junk folder.
  • Reconfirm the entered email and number.
  • Retry after a few minutes or use a different verified email ID.

Incomplete or Incorrect Business Details

If your onboarding form keeps getting rejected, your registration details may not match Meta records.

Action steps:

  • Recheck your Business Name, Address, Website, and Legal Entity.
  • Ensure the details are identical to those in Meta Business Verification.

Page Load or Browser Errors

If Meta or Libromi pages fail to load or redirect incorrectly:

Quick fix:

  • Use Google Chrome in Incognito Mode.
  • Clear browser cache and cookies.
  • Temporarily disable VPN or ad blockers.

Invalid Number or Country Format

If your number input isn’t accepted:

Make sure:

  • You use the full international format, e.g. +91XXXXXXXXXX.
  • Avoid spaces, hyphens, or brackets.

Pro Tips for Smooth Onboarding

  • Use a verified business email domain (avoid Gmail/Yahoo).
  • Complete Meta Business Verification before Libromi setup.
  • Connect a new or released WhatsApp number.
  • Maintain consistent business details across Meta, GST, and website.
  • Have a Meta Admin present during onboarding for faster approvals.
